Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7 amβ6 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sacramento follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Oh my goodnessβ¦ one of the BEST char siu buns I have ever had (and I been to Hong Kong quite a few times, and lived in mainland China). The custard and lotus buns were also divineβ very pillowy bread. Good traditional fare as well as newer, American (ie. The breakfast sandoβ¦). Had the congee combo. Iβd recommend. I rarely comment on a place and this made the cut!

Overall experience was good. Dumpling tasted fresh and crispy. Buns were okay, does have a different taste than Iβm used to. Sesame seed balls were a little on the sweeter side for me but still worth it. Went when they open first thing in the morning on a weekday, and starting 4/27/26, they had a sign posted on their door saying they have 20% off all items, I believe.

Cantonese style dim sum cafe. Very quick, convenient, and delicious. All dim sum are well prepared. Seating area is nice and quiet. Price is very reasonable too. I really enjoyed the time here.

Very decent selections and comfortable interiors. There are dim sum items, common Chinese baked goods and some kitchen foods available. Most of the items I got was quite good and some a bit on the salty side. The egg tarts ware however a bit unusual and better ones can be gotten elsewhere. End of day specials after 5 pm.

Have been twice now, and enjoyed the food quite a bit both times! The first was on a Sunday around 11:30 am. Bustling but not a very long wait - a staff person took our order in line and things were packed up and ready to go promptly while we paid. The second was a Saturday around 2:30 pm, and of course it was much quieter and we ordered at the register. Some things like the baked baos were sold out by then. The items weβve tried (ha gao, pork siu mai, shark fin shaped dumpling, turnip cake, chive and shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp balls, fried meat dumplings, sesame ball, stuffed bell pep and eggplant) have been fresh and well flavored. Our favorites are the chive and shrimp dumplings and the fried meat dumpling. All items are pretty big and are great for sharing if you take it home and snip it up with kitchen shears. Price is about expected for these days, we had plenty to eat with a decent amount leftover for about $20/person (and how can you resist getting a variety). The structure of ordering, not quite as flexible or customizable as everything being by the piece (some items have 2 or 3 pieces per order) can be a little mentally tricky to figure out quantities for your group.
